Our company was established in 1945 as J.D. O’Malley Bail Bond Company. In 1968, the company became Lacey O’Malley under the leadership of Joe and Fran Lacey. They guided the company in becoming the most successful and respected in the industry. Today, we are known as the preferred bail bond company by many of the area’s best attorney’s.
The Lacey O’Malley Bail Bond Agency has consistently pioneered improvements to the development and operation of the bail bond profession through legislation that keeps the focus where it belongs ~ on our clients. In 1993, the Lacey’s, with the assistance of Gayle Brandon, successfully initiated legislation requiring all bail bond agents operating in Washington State to be licensed and regulated by the Department of Licensing (DOL). In 2006, Lacey O’Malley was instrumental in passing legislation requiring Bail Bond Recovery agents be trained, licensed and receive continuing education hours.
Gayle Brandon became president of Lacey O’Malley Bail Bond agency in 1996. In 2001, Denny Behrend, a retired Deputy U.S. Marshal with 32 years’ experience in law enforcement joined the company.
